Sara Hymes

Sara Hymes is a versatile theatre professional with extensive experience in acting, directing, and education. Currently serving as a Visiting Assistant Lecturer at Idaho State University, Sara teaches Advanced Acting, Musical Theatre, and Voice & Speech, while also engaging in departmental service. Apart from academic contributions, Sara has a robust career as a professional actor represented by AVANTI TALENT MANAGEMENT LLC and Take 3 Talent Agency, and is actively involved with Actors' Equity Association. Additional roles include Director of Performances at mainstages, Ambassador/Event Host at Goodera, and previous Resident Company Member at Hedgepig Ensemble Theatre. Sara's educational background includes an MFA in Acting from Wayne State University and dual BFA degrees in Musical Theatre from Kent State University.
