Vanessa Hadida

Vanessa Hadida, CPA-CA, has a comprehensive work experience in financial reporting, planning, and complex accounting. Vanessa currently holds the position of Director of External Financial Reporting at Goodfood Market since August 2021. Previously, they worked at CAE, where they had multiple roles including Manager of Financial Reporting, Planning, and IFRS for the Defence and Security segment from July 2018 to August 2021. Vanessa also served as an IFRS Segment Expert for Defense and Security from January 2016 to July 2018, overseeing the implementation of IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 standards. Prior to CAE, Vanessa worked as an Auditor at Nexia Friedman from May 2004 to July 2008. Throughout their career, they have developed expertise in IFRS standards and has experience in revenue recognition, business combinations, property, plant and equipment, and intangible assets.

Vanessa Hadida, CPA-CA completed a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) with Honors in Accounting at McGill University from 2002 to 2005. Vanessa then pursued a Graduate diploma of Accountancy in Accounting from McGill University, obtaining it from 2005 to 2007.
