Emily Lukaweski has been working in the legal industry since 2014. Emily started their career as a Lawyer at Cox & Palmer, followed by a role as a Policy Consultant - Trade and Government Procurement at the Ontario Ministry of Government and Consumer Services in 2016. In 2017, they became a Freelance Lawyer at Flex Legal Network Inc., then a Lawyer at Mamann, Sandaluk & Kingwell LLP in 2018. In 2019, they held roles as a Business and Immigration Lawyer at Morrison Brown Sosnovitch LLP and an Activator at SheEO. In 2020, they were a Lawyer at Goodlawyer and a Lawyer, in association at BLANSHAY LAW. Most recently, in 2021, Emily became the Director of Legal and Immigration at ATLAS, where they provide legal consulting services and strategic business advice.
Emily Lukaweski attended the University of Toronto from 2000 to 2004, where they earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Psychology. Emily then attended McMaster University from 2006 to 2007, where they earned a MA in Medical Anthropology. Following this, Emily attended Dalhousie University from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a Doctor of Law (JD) in Law. In 2010, Emily also earned a Certificate in International Business Law from Queen's University in International Law and Legal Studies. Recently, Emily has been attending Kula Yoga Studio since 2020, where they are completing a Yoga Teacher Training - 200 hrs.
