Tom Archibald has over two decades of experience in the legal field. Tom began their career in 1996 as an Articled Clerk at Koskie Minsky LLP. In 2000, they returned to the University of Toronto Faculty of Law as a Research Associate. Three years later, they moved to the University of Alberta, Faculty of Law as an Assistant Professor. In 2008, they joined Heenan Blaikie as an Associate Lawyer. In 2012, they founded Archibald Law Professional Corporation, where they served as Principal. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Goodlawyer as a Member Lawyer.
Tom Archibald has a rich educational history. Tom obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School between 1992 and 1995. Tom then went on to obtain a Master of Laws (LLM) from Queen's University between 1995 and 1998. In 2012, they became a Member of the Nova Scotia Barristers Society, and in 1999, they became a Member of the Law Society of Ontario. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Ottawa - Faculty of Law | Common Law between 2015 and 2017.
