Martin De Rome is an experienced operations executive currently serving as Vice President of Operations at GoodLeaf Farms since November 2022. Previously, Martin held the position of Senior Vice President of Operations at Les Aliments Whyte's Inc. - Whyte's Foods Inc. from July 2021 to December 2022. Prior to that, Martin was the Plant Manager at Plats du Chef for a brief period from November 2020 to July 2021. Martin's career includes a significant tenure at Sofina Foods Inc. as Vice President of Operations from February 2017 to November 2020 and an extensive 25-year career at Procter & Gamble, where roles included Plant Manager, Operations Manager, and Department Manager. Martin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, earned between 1988 and 1992.

A diverse group of Production Associates, Horticulture and Quality Specialists, and Engineers, make up our team of renegade farmers that grow fresher, more nutritious food that’s significantly better for the environment, year-round. In 2015, we opened our first pilot farm in Nova Scotia, followed by a large-scale indoor farm in Guelph, Ontario in 2019. We’ve continued growing rapidly with farms 2 more farms now open in Calgary, Alberta and St-Hubert, Quebec. And guess what, that means we’re also growing our team!
