Dr. Ashley Parmer has a diverse background in healthcare, starting as an EMT-B and Student Nurse at Rush Memorial Hospital in 2009. Dr. Ashley later worked as an RN BSN CCRN at Hancock Regional Hospital before moving onto roles at Indiana University Health as a Student Nurse. Continuing their career, they held positions at Community Health Network as a Cardiovascular APP Product Line Lead/Advanced Heart Failure Nurse Practitioner and later as the Director of Quality. Currently, they serve as the Chief Clinical Operations Officer at Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine. Dr. Ashley is also a Board Member at Central District Indiana Organization for Nursing Leadership and a Committee Member at the American College of Cardiology.

Dr. Ashley Parmer holds a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Marian University. Dr. Ashley then pursued a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Cincinnati from 2015 to 2016. Dr. Parmer later achieved a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Indiana University Indianapolis in 2022. Additionally, they hold certifications including CCRN, ENLS, and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
