Douglas Brown

Douglas Brown is an experienced finance professional with extensive expertise in investment management and governance. Currently serving as Board Member and Chair for the National Railroad Retirement Investment Trust, Douglas oversees $29 billion in assets. Douglas is also a Board Member at Goodman Theatre, contributing to its artistic and community initiatives. As a Board Member of the Committee on Investment of Employee Benefit Assets, Douglas engages with significant corporate pension funds. Previously, Douglas held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at Exelon Corporation, managing investment strategies until retirement in July 2024. Douglas's prior experience includes leadership roles at Chrysler Group LLC and DaimlerChrysler, along with committee memberships at various charitable and professional organizations. Douglas holds a BA in Economics from Albion College and an MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy.
