Meghan Zichelli

Meghan Zichelli has a diverse range of work experience across various industries. Meghan currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Goodnation, where they lead HR, people operations, marketing, and communications. Prior to this, they were the Director of People Operations and Marketing at the same company, responsible for building and leading the employee lifecycle and driving culture initiatives.

In 2021, Meghan worked as a Website Designer, offering their services to small businesses and nonprofits.

From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Project Manager in Communications and Marketing at Robin Hood, collaborating with team members across departments and managing multiple projects for nonprofit organizations.

During a sabbatical in 2016, Meghan took some time off from work.

From 2014 to 2015, they were the Project Director for Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts at Friends of Firefighters, managing internal and external communications and corporate partnerships. Meghan also served as the Operations Manager and Office Manager at the same organization, showcasing their impact and managing volunteers.

Before that, Meghan worked as an English Teacher at Language Institutes from 2009 to 2010.

From 2007 to 2009, they were the Marketing/Events Manager at La Tasca Spanish Tapas Bar & Restaurant, where they developed marketing strategies, planned events, and engaged with the community.

Meghan also worked as a Temp at the Public Broadcasting Service in 2007 and as a Game Operations Intern at the Washington Wizards in 2006.

In 2006, they served as a Program Assistant at the Center for Student Opportunity, contributing to their college initiatives, marketing, and client services.

Meghan Zichelli completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Communication with a minor in Marketing from American University, where they studied from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they attended The Catholic University of America from 2002 to 2004, focusing on Media Studies. In addition to their academic qualifications, Meghan obtained the SHRM Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty certification from SHRM in June 2021.
