Imani Maxberry has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2011 when they were a Classroom Manager and Tutor at Kumon Math Learning Ctr. In 2015, they worked as a Student Worker for a Lab Manager at LSU Wetland Biogeochemical Analytical Services. In 2016 and 2017, they were a Transient Worker and Student Worker for a Research Professor at LSU Department of Oceanography and Coastal Sciences. From 2018 to 2020, they held the roles of Project Manager and Head of Community Service and Outreach, and Assistant at Cam Kirk Studios. In 2020, they were a Best Buy Social Media Ambassador. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Food Recovery and Waste Management Operations Associate at GoodrCo., where they build strong relationships with vendors and clients and collaborates with cross-functional leaders to deliver excellent and consistent client experiences.
Imani Maxberry attended Louisiana State University from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Coastal Environmental Science. Imani then attended Georgia State University from 2020 to 2021, where they completed a Multi-Interdisciplinary degree in Urban Studies/Affairs.
