Elizabeth (Khuri) Chandler has been working in the media industry since 2002. Elizabeth began their career as a Freelance Journalist, writing for publications such as Time Magazine, The Los Angeles Times Sunday Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, Dance Magazine, The Robb Report, C Magazine, Women's Wear Daily and others. Her specialties are performing arts, visual arts, fashion, culture and style. In 2004, they were appointed Managing Editor of SOMA Magazine. The following year, they were appointed Assistant Style Editor at the Los Angeles Times Sunday Magazine. In 2007, Elizabeth co-founded Goodreads.com and served as the Editor In Chief. In 2010, they became the Culture Editor of C California Style Magazine.

Elizabeth (Khuri) Chandler completed their undergraduate studies at Stanford University, earning a B.A. in English with a minor in Human Biology minor (Pre Med). Elizabeth then went on to pursue their master's degree at the University of Southern California, graduating with an M.A. in Journalism.
