Andy Chan

Andy Chan has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Andy is currently working at GoodRx as a Principal Platform Engineer II, a position they started in May 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Principal Architect at GoodRx from April 2020 to May 2022.

Before joining GoodRx, Andy worked at Weedmaps as a Principal Architect from March 2019 to April 2020. Andy also had a stint at Ticketmaster, where they held various roles including Accomplished Systems Architect, Technology Platform; Principal Systems Architect, Hybrid Cloud & Developer Platform; Systems Architect, Platform; and Software Architect, Platform Engineering. Andy'stenure at Ticketmaster lasted from July 2014 to March 2019.

Earlier in their career, Andy held the role of Software Architect / Manager of Platform at eharmony from June 2013 to July 2014. Andy also worked as a Principal Architect at CityGrid Media from January 2012 to June 2013.

Prior to that, Andy worked at Shopzilla as a Senior Manager, Engineering and Architect from November 2005 to December 2011. Andy was also an Author at Apress from September 2010 to March 2011.

During their early career, Andy had significant roles as a Partner/Software Architect at The Satorian Group, LLC. from July 2003 to December 2010. Andy was also a Co-Founder/Software Architect at Vortex Creations from September 2001 to November 2005.

Andy started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at IBM in May 1999, a position they held until February 2004.

Andy Chan completed their Bachelor's degree in Information & Computer Science at UC Irvine from 1994 to 1996. Andy also obtained a certification as a Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Platform 1.4 from Sun Educational Services in April 2004.
