Arwin Tugade

Arwin Tugade has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Arwin is currently working at GoodRx as the Director of Platform Infrastructure, where they have been since August 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Manager of Platform Infrastructure at GoodRx starting in July 2020.

Before joining GoodRx, Arwin worked at Fox Broadcasting Company as a DevOps Manager from September 2017 to February 2019. Arwin was responsible for maintaining relationships with development teams and implementing continuous delivery pipelines for various web properties. Arwin also served as a DevOps Architect and a Senior DevOps Engineer at Fox Broadcasting Company.

Prior to their time at Fox, Arwin worked at Rovi as a Senior Continuous Delivery Engineer (DevOps) from February 2014 to April 2015. Before that, they were a Unix Technical Consultant at Taos from August 2013 to February 2014, where they were responsible for implementing DevOps practices and continuous delivery pipelines for Rovi's Metadata service.

Arwin also worked at Rovi as a Sr. Systems Engineer from April 2011 to September 2013, where they supported and migrated production services. Arwin started their career at DivX, where they served as a Senior Unix System Administrator from August 2010 to April 2011, and at California State University, Northridge as a Unix System Administrator from August 2007 to August 2010.

Earlier in their career, Arwin worked as a System Administrator at DreamWorks Animation from October 2005 to August 2007, and at PAC Foundries as a System Administrator from October 2003 to October 2005. Arwin also had a partnership role at XLG Network from December 2001 to December 2004.

Throughout their career, Arwin has gained experience with a range of technologies including Puppet, AWS, Apache, MySQL, and more.

Arwin Tugade earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge. Arwin attended from 1999 to 2001. Before that, they studied Business Administration at San Diego State University from 1995 to 1999, although they did not earn a degree in this field. Additionally, Arwin Tugade obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon in December 2016.
