Cindy George

Cindy George is an experienced journalist and editor currently serving as the Personal Finance Editor at GoodRx since June 2021. Cindy held previous positions as Assistant Editor for TMC Pulse magazine at the Texas Medical Center from 2018 to 2020 and spent over a decade at the Houston Chronicle in various reporter roles, ultimately becoming a Senior Reporter. Cindy also contributed to the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) in multiple capacities, including Parliamentarian and Chair of several initiatives focused on health and energy. Additionally, Cindy has reported for The News & Observer Publishing Company and the Pensacola News Journal, and has held internship positions at prominent news outlets. An academic background includes a Master of Public Health from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Florida.
