Ernest Li

Ernest Li has a diverse work experience in product design and leadership roles. Ernest is currently working at GoodRx as a Lead Product Designer II. In this role, they have led the design of the visit experience for new patients and GoodRx telehealth service, resulting in significant improvements in visit completion, refund rate, and CSAT.

Before joining GoodRx, Ernest was the Head of Product Design at Tala, where they led a global design team and launched a debit card and mobile-banking product in Mexico. Ernest also oversaw the end-to-end redesign of mobile apps in partnership with Pentagram branding agency.

Prior to Tala, Ernest worked as a Design Consultant at ernestli.com for ten years, providing product design consulting and educational instruction to clients such as Change.org, General Assembly, and Soundhound.

In their earlier roles, Ernest served as the Lead Product Designer at Thrive Market, where they were responsible for leading the design and development of the company's first iOS and Android apps. Ernest also hired and managed the Product Design team, working on various initiatives related to acquisition, e-commerce, and user engagement.

Ernest has also worked as a Product Designer at Hulu, contributing to the design of their platform, and as a Product Design Consultant at Change.org, where they led the design of the new mobile website and core features focused on user engagement.

Ernest began their career as a Senior UX Designer at Fandango, where they gained valuable experience in user experience design.

Throughout their career, Ernest Li has demonstrated strong design leadership skills, delivering impactful results and driving innovation in various organizations.

Ernest Li has a diverse education history. Ernest holds a Master's of Music degree in Music Technology & Composition from New York University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree (BA) in Biology from Occidental College. Additionally, Ernest Li has completed a User Experience Intensive program at UCLA.

Moreover, Ernest Li has obtained several additional certifications to enhance their skills. Ernest completed the W3C Digital Accessibility Foundations program through edX in December 2022. In 2021, they obtained a certification in Behavioral Design for Health from Irrational Labs. Lastly, Ernest Li completed the Android Development: Grow with Google Scholarship program through Udacity in April 2018.
