Tom Croucher

Tom Croucher has a diverse and extensive work experience in various technology companies. Tom is currently employed as a Principal Software Engineer at GoodRx since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Uber for six years from February 2014 to February 2020, serving as a Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead for Site Reliability Engineering.

Tom also worked as an Advisor at LIVEONE GROUP from January 2013 to December 2014. Tom held the position of Principal & Node.js Consultant at Jetpacks for Dinosaurs from November 2011 to January 2014. Additionally, they have served as the CTO of Change.org and as a Technical Advisor at Modulus, both from November 2012 to September 2013.

Earlier in their career, Tom held the position of Chief Evangelist at Joyent from December 2010 to November 2011. Tom also worked at Yahoo! as a Technical Evangelist from July 2008 to December 2010 and as a Front-end Engineer and Innovation Lead from July 2006 to August 2008.

Prior to that, Tom worked as a Systems Integration Manager at 24-7 MusicShop from June 2005 to June 2006 and as a Co-founder at Netalley Networks LLP from November 2003 to October 2005.

Tom Croucher obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with first-class honors from the University of Sunderland between 2001 and 2005. In 2008, they received certification as an IT Certified Training Professional from the British Computer Society.
