Joshua Basarte

Joshua Basarte has a proven track record in software engineering and development, with a focus on Android applications. Joshua is currently working as a Sr. Android Developer at Goodwall since March 2021. Prior to that, Joshua worked at VOXP Technologies & Innovations, Inc. for over six years, starting in August 2015 and ending in January 2022. During their time there, they served as a Software Engineer.

Before joining VOXP Technologies, Joshua gained valuable experience at Chikka Asia, Inc. where they held multiple roles. From January 2013 to May 2015, they served as a Research and Development Supervisor, leading a team of engineers in system analysis, design, programming, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and documentation. As a team lead, they also mentored, resolved conflicts, delegated tasks, and motivated the team. From August 2009 to December 2012, they worked as a Research and Development Engineer at the same company.

Joshua's work experience also includes an internship at Metropass Systems, Inc. in 2008, where they gained initial exposure to the industry.

Joshua Basarte completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Ateneo de Manila University, from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended Ateneo de Davao University and completed their High School education from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Joshua Basarte obtained the certification of Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer from Oracle in June 2013.
