Khang Tran

Khang Tran is the current SVP of Engineering at Goodwater Capital. Prior to this, they served as Head of Engineering at Hipcamp from October 2019 to June 2021. Khang has also held various other engineering and product leadership roles at startups from October 2007 to December 2013, including co-founder at Grid and Kafki (both shut down), engineer at AngelList, head of product at Friend.ly (acquired by Facebook) and WePay (acquired by JPMorgan Chase), CTO at RealtyNation (now ApartmentList), and co-founder at TrendHappy (shut down). Engineer at Ruba (acquired by Google) and Qubescape (shut down).

Khang Tran graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan.
