Matt Fortney

Matt Fortney has extensive experience in financial management and administration. Matt currently holds the position of SVP Administration & Chief Financial Officer at Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana since 2023. Prior to that, they served as Chief Financial Officer at Freeland Group Restaurants from 2017 to 2023, where they were responsible for developing a growth strategy, franchise acquisition, and market planning. Before that, they worked as Chief Financial Officer at Group Delphi from 2008 to 2017, where they implemented financial planning structures, improved cash flow, and led post-merger integrations. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at ICON Exhibits, including Vice President, Controller, and Cost Accountant.

Matt Fortney attended Indiana University Fort Wayne from 1990 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Matt also obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Indiana Board of Accountancy.
