Edie Stewart

Edie Stewart serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Mission Officer at Goodwill Industries of Arkansas since April 2023, focusing on education, skills training, and workforce development. Previously, Edie held various leadership positions at the Arkansas Department of Education from September 2020 to April 2023, including Director of Educator Preparation, where oversight of teacher recruitment and retention initiatives occurred. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Instructor and University Supervisor Coordinator at the University of Cincinnati, and teaching positions in multiple educational settings such as Sinclair Community College and public schools in Arkansas and Tennessee. Edie holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Special Education.
