Andrew J. Wise, CPA

Andrew J. Wise, CPA has a diverse work experience. Andrew J. is currently the Director of Finance and Accounting at Goodwill Industries of Kentucky, a role they started in June 2020. Prior to this, Andrew worked at MCM CPAs & Advisors from 2014 to 2020, where they held various positions including Assurance Manager, Assurance Supervisor, Assurance Senior Associate, and Assurance Associate. At MCM, Andrew managed projects for audits, reviews, and compilations of data for construction/contracting companies, midsize manufacturers, healthcare entities, commercial organizations, and not-for-profits.

In 2014, Andrew has also worked as an Accounting Intern at INVISION FLOORING and as a Tax Intern at MCM CPAs & Advisors. Andrew J. gained experience as a Business Development Intern at ResCare in 2013. Prior to their accounting career, Andrew worked as a Substitute Teacher at Trinity High School from 2011 to 2012.

Andrew's earliest work experience was as a Campus Minister at Cru from 2008 to 2010. In this role, they worked with a ministry team to develop spiritual leaders through mentoring, training, bible studies, and events. Andrew J. also raised funds through ministry partner development to finance the ministry and provided discipleship and leadership coaching.

Andrew J. Wise, CPA has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) with a field of study in Management/Organizational Leadership from the University of Arkansas, which they obtained from 2004 to 2008. Andrew J. also holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) in Theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, completed from 2010 to 2013. In 2013 and 2014, they obtained an Advanced Accounting Certificate from Bellarmine University, specializing in Accounting.

In terms of certifications, Andrew J. Wise is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certified by the Indiana Board of Accountancy as of October 2018. Additionally, they have obtained the Certified Public Accountant designation from the Kentucky State Board of Accountancy. Andrew J. also holds a Not-for-Profit Certificate I from the AICPA.
