Michelle Clowe has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Michelle began their career at the Northeast Florida Human Trafficking Coalition in 2012, where they served as the Co-Chair, expanding the coalition and coordinating with various organizations to provide advocacy and support. In 2009, they joined World Relief as the Director of Refugee Services and Anti-Trafficking Program Manager, leading a team and serving survivors from multiple countries. In 2020, Michelle joined Goodwill Industries of North Florida as the Mission Development Director and later became the Vice President of Mission Development. Michelle'swork at Goodwill Industries continues to contribute to the organization's mission.
Michelle Clowe attended Boston College from 1977 to 1981, where they studied Economics with a focus on Urban Planning. Later, from 2011 to 2013, they attended the University of Illinois Chicago, specializing in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management. In June 2013, they obtained a certification as a Faith Alliance Against Trafficking Certified Trainer from the Faith Alliance Against Trafficking (FAAST).
