Robin Raney is currently the CEO at Goodwill Industries of Northwest Texas. Before that, they served as the VP of Business Development at the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce from January 2010 to March 2014. In that role, they were responsible for supporting and enhancing member businesses through relevant, timely and strategic business education programming while offering valuable business-to-business networking opportunities. Robin also collaborated with key business support agencies to strengthen the Lubbock business climate and conduct strategic referrals.
During their time at the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce, Robin developed and implemented “Chamber University”, an innovative business seminar series led by local subject matter experts to highlight current issues while increasing non-dues revenue. Robin also added an online business education platform with over 2,000 course offerings. In addition, Robin collaborated with key volunteers and planning committees to expand and facilitate large events including the Business Expo, Hub City BBQ and Annual Meeting to provide development and networking opportunities for member businesses while increasing revenue streams for the chamber. Lastly, they honored exemplary businesses and individuals at the Annual Meeting and facilitated nominations of the Texas Small Business Awards and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Blue Ribbon Awards.
Robin Raney has a B.A. in Accounting and Business Administration from Birmingham-Southern College and an IOM in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from the Institute of Organization Management. Robin has also completed courses at Leadership Lubbock and Young County Leadership.
