Ruth Brophy

Ruth Brophy is the current director at Goodwill South Florida and has an extensive background in finance and accounting. Ruth started their career at Arthur Andersen in 1980 and worked their way up to senior audit and consulting manager. In 1992, they joined Harris Connect/B.C. Harris Publishing Com as senior VP finance & CFO. During their time there, they gained experience in a variety of industries including broadcast and cable TV, financial products and services, insurance, manufacturing, media, natural resources, retail, fashion, software development, private equity, technology, telecommunications, and transportation. In September 2017, they joined NACD Florida Chapter as a board director and served on the governance and nominating committee as well as secretary and treasurer of the board. In January 2019, they joined Babson College WIN Labs accelerator as an advisory board member. WIN Lab is a different kind of accelerator that broadens the possibilities for women entrepreneurs capable of making a dynamic economic impact.

Ruth Brophy's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fairfield University and a Master of Science in Finance from Fairfield University. Ruth also has a Cyber Security Strategy & Leadership certification from Carnegie Mellon University.
