Heather Tigert-Vitela has had a long and successful career at Goodwill Southern California. Heather started in 2013 as a Program Supervisor and quickly moved up to become a Program Manager in 2015. After five years in this role, they transitioned to become an Associate Director of Workforce & Career Development in 2018. In 2019, Heather took their career to the next level and became the Regional Director of Workforce & Career Development. Heather'sdedication and hard work have earned their multiple promotions within the organization.
Heather Tigert-Vitela obtained a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from California State University, Northridge, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from San Diego State University, attending from 2006 to 2008. In addition to their academic degrees, they obtained a certification in Diversity & Inclusion from Cornell University in May 2020.
