Morris Baker is the current President & CEO at GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF TENNEVA AREA INC. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director of the Kingsport Higher Education Commission and the Community Services Director for the City of Kingsport. Morris has also held positions as the Director of Grants and the CSBG Director for the Upper East Tennessee Human Development Agency.
Morris Baker has a PhD in Public Administration from Liberty University, a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Pal’s BEI World Class Training, and a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from East Tennessee State University. Morris is also certified as a Executive from Goodwill Industries International and as a Certified Community Action Professional (CCAP) from the Community Action Partnership - National Office.
