Allen Starr

Allen Starr has been working in the field of information technology for over 20 years. Allen has held various positions during their career, including IT Director and Technical Director. In their current position as VP for Information Technology & Chief Information Officer at Goodwill Industries-Suncoast, they are responsible for leading the organization's IT department and overseeing all aspects of information technology.

Prior to joining Goodwill Industries-Suncoast, Allen Starr worked as the IT Director for Bloomin' Brands, Inc. from January 2012 to December 2015. During their time with Bloomin' Brands, they led the Financial Implementation and Transformation project, which included the implementation of all SAP Financial modules and the integration of existing and new custom applications into the new finance system. Allen also streamlined processes through automation using HANA, BusinessObjects, OpenText, and BPC.

Before joining Bloomin' Brands, Allen Starr was the IT Director for TUI Travel PLC from January 2011 to December 2012. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of information technology for the company. Prior to their work with TUI Travel PLC, they served as the IT Director for Gerdau S.A. from January 2008 to December 2011.

Allen Starr has a Masters in Business Administration from Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business, and a Bachelors of Science in Business with a Computer Information Systems major from Ferris State University. Allen is also certified by Goodwill Industries International in their Goodwill International Senior Leadership Program, and by Harvard Business School Executive Education in Competing in the Age of AI.
