Jill Eggebrecht Wallace has had a diverse work experience in marketing and communications roles. Jill started their career as the Director of College Relations at Aquinas College from April 2000 to June 2001. Jill then moved on to become the Marketing Director at the Michigan Small Business Development Center from July 2001 to July 2007. In this role, they managed statewide marketing operations and secured sponsorships for various marketing mediums. From July 2007 onwards, Jill worked at Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids, where they held multiple roles including Vice President of Community Relations and eventually Chief Marketing and Communications Officer/VP of Operations. At Goodwill, they were responsible for strategic branding, public relations, and marketing for 20 stores and multiple job training and placement programs. Jill also oversaw retail operations, generating $28 million in revenue from donated goods. Additionally, they launched an upscale boutique and a customer loyalty platform. Jill played a crucial role in educating the public about the organization's training and placement initiatives.

Jill Eggebrecht Wallace completed a Certificate in Executive Communication from Harvard University in 2018. In 2017, they also earned a Certification in Executive Business Communication from Harvard Extension School. Jill obtained a Master of Management degree in Marketing/Communications from Aquinas College - Grand Rapids in 2001.
