Keith T. Parker

Keith T. Parker is the current President & CEO at Goodwill of North Georgia. Keith was previously the General Manager/ Chief Executive Officer at MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) from December 2012 to October 2017. While at MARTA, Keith implemented “The MARTA Transformation Initiative,” which served as the blueprint for fiscal efficiencies, customer improvements and workforce development. Keith also converted an inherited deficit from $33 million (projected) to a $9 million surplus (actual) in 6 months and instituted fiscal reforms that resulted in a turnaround exceeding $250 million in less than 4 years. In addition, Keith led the successful “Ride with Respect” campaign during fall 2013, which resulted in a reduction in uncivil behavior and made MARTA one of the nation’s safest transit authorities. Following almost seven years of flat wages, Keith provided raises for all eligible employees every year during their tenure. Keith also improved the agency’s reputation, resulting in successful referendums to expand MARTA service in Clayton County (2014) and the City of Atlanta (2016). Prior to MARTA, Keith was the President/Chief Executive Officer at VIA Metropolitan Transit from July 2009 to December 2012.

Keith T. Parker is a graduate of the Senior Executive Institute at the University of Virginia, the Master of Business Administration program at the University of Richmond, and the Master of Urban and Regional Planning program at Virginia Commonwealth University. Keith also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University.
