Kristen Wood

Kristen Wood serves as the Director of Grants and Advocacy at Goodwill of Western Missouri & Eastern Kansas since May 2017, where responsibilities include creating an annual legislative agenda, managing lobbying contracts, and overseeing fundraising strategies through grant applications and donor engagement. Previously, Kristen has held positions as Director of Business Development and Business Services Manager, focusing on revenue generation and employer partnerships. Experiences include field representative and staff assistant roles at the Office of US Senator Claire McCaskill, as well as internships in legislative affairs and college access mentorship. Kristen holds a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from Truman State University.
