Nicole Wilson

Nicole Wilson, Ph.D, MPA, SHRM-CP has extensive work experience in various positions. Nicole currently holds the role of Vice President of Mission Advancement at Goodwill Omaha. Prior to this, they served as an Adjunct Instructor at Midland University.

In 2021, Nicole worked as the Director of Behavioral Health at The Salvation Army Western Division, where they provided leadership and oversight to various behavioral health programs.

From 2013 to 2021, they worked as a Family Teacher at Boys Town, focusing on providing support to families.

Nicole also has experience in the academic field, serving as an Assistant Academic Dean at National American University in 2012 and as an Instructor in the same institution during that period.

Nicole started their career at Esurance Insurance Company in 2005, where they worked as a Customer Service Supervisor, managing a team of 20 individuals in a call-center environment. Nicole also held the position of Accounting Supervisor at Great West Casualty Company, where they oversaw accounts receivable and managed a team of 7 staff members.

Nicole Wilson, Ph.D, MPA, SHRM-CP has an extensive education history. Nicole obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Human Capital Management from Bellevue University, graduating in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from Bellevue University between 2010 and 2012. Nicole'sBachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Banking and Financial Services was obtained from Northern State University from 2007 to 2010.

In addition to their degrees, Nicole has multiple certifications. Nicole is a certified SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM, obtained in June 2023. Nicole also holds a Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP) certification from Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell - CPAs and Business Advisors, obtained in 2022. Nicole has also completed a Fundraising Essentials Certificate program from NonprofitReady and holds a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute. Nicole has further completed the Mental Health First Aid course from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
