Maryel Gonzalez has extensive experience in quality control and assay development, currently serving as the Manager of QC and Assay Development Groups at Goodwin Biotechnology, Inc. since July 2010. Responsibilities include overseeing daily laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with ICH guidelines and FDA regulations, and managing method development and validation. Prior roles include Lead Scientist at Azopharma Contract Pharmaceutical Services, where method transfer protocols were implemented, and Director of Research and Development at Doral Imaging Institute, focusing on advancements in cardiovascular procedures and technology expansion in Latin America. Additional experience includes analytical method development at Centro de Inmunoensayo and research at the Vaccine and Serum Institute “Carlos J. Finlay.” Maryel Gonzalez holds a degree from the Higher Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology.
