Mick Portell is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Goodwin Brothers Construction since May 2022, Mick previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Butler Supply Inc., managing performance and objectives for a distributor of electrical, plumbing, and communications supplies. Mick's professional journey includes significant roles such as Corporate Controller at Precoat Metals and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, as well as Director of Financial Planning and Reporting at Rawlings Sporting Goods. Throughout Mick's career, responsibilities have encompassed financial planning, reporting, treasury management, and team supervision. Mick began the finance career as a Senior Accountant at Humes and Barrington, P.C., and held various positions at Emerson, including Senior Financial Analyst and Senior Internal Auditor.
