Bill Bedont

Bill Bedont is a seasoned technical project manager with extensive experience in tire development and engineering. Currently at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company since October 2019, Bill leads the technical development of race tires and has previously served as the lead engineer for drag racing and sportscar tire programs. Bill's background includes leadership roles at The Timken Company as a product manager for spherical roller bearings, and at Westinghouse Electric Company as an engineering manager overseeing steam generator management programs. Earlier positions include senior mechanical engineer roles at Extrude Hone and Goodyear, focusing on machine design and tire applications. Bill holds an MBA from Seton Hill University, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Akron, and BS degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh and Saint Vincent College, respectively.
