Aashish Ahuja

Aashish Ahuja is a highly skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. Aashish has worked at California Medical Innovations Institute as a Mechanical Engineer Research Associate, focusing on therapies for aortic dissection and lymphedema, utilizing FEA/CFD in Abaqus and material testing methodologies. Previous roles include a Capstone Project Member at Applied Materials, a Trainee at General Electric Aviation, and an intern at Krishna Maruti Group. Aashish has also held engineering positions at BD and is currently a Senior Engineer at Google, contributing to the development of the Pixel Smartwatch. Academically, Aashish holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, a Master of Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering, also from UC Berkeley, where research included the innovative Translucent Concrete project.
