Aastha Gaur

Aastha Gaur is an accomplished Senior Director of UX at Google, leading a team of over 120 professionals in Customer Engagement for Google Maps. With a focus on customer-centric outcomes, Aastha is dedicated to fostering collaborative and effective teams. Prior experience includes serving as a User Experience Designer at Yahoo!, contributing to the launch of multi-screen experiences during the 2012 US Presidential Elections, and holding the role of Senior Art Director at DISTINC, where Aastha enhanced donor experiences for non-profits. Aastha has also taught a Portfolio Design course at the Art Institute, guiding students in personal branding and career development. Earlier in their career, Aastha worked as a UX/UI Designer at Ixmod Sensible Design, where Aastha aimed to innovate product design in India. Aastha holds a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the California Institute of the Arts and a Bachelor of Design in Industrial Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology.
