Abel Feleke

Abel Feleke is a skilled computer systems engineer and software engineer with diverse experience in various roles. At Berkeley Lab, Abel developed a Python script to improve an NLP model for Earth science data while collaborating with a postdoctoral researcher. As a SIMR intern at Stanford University's Yang Lab, Abel engineered stem-cell based articular cartilage and presented findings to the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine. Experience as a code coach at The Coder School Berkeley involved teaching programming fundamentals to elementary students through game development. Abel's current role at Google focuses on accelerating Search AI, with prior experiences in automating log onboarding processes and developing applications. Abel holds dual B.A. degrees in Data Science and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
