Adnan Akil

Adnan Akil is an experienced product manager with a strong background in developing and executing product strategies across various technology companies. At Fivestars, Adnan played a key role in launching a new product line that significantly impacted merchant acquisition, contributing to 30% of company value. Subsequent positions at Uber, Facebook, and Academia.edu involved driving feature development and marketing strategies, notably expanding Academia.edu's user base from 4 to 35 million. Currently, Adnan is focused on building LLM-based search experiences at Google. Adnan also co-founded Plasmyd, an online discussion platform for academic publications, which was sold to Academia.edu.
