Albert Shaw

Albert Shaw is a Senior Research Engineer at Google since November 2021 and a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley since July 2021. Shaw previously worked as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Tesla, focusing on developing real-time multi-task semantic segmentation and object detection for self-driving cars. Prior experience includes serving as a Machine Learning Researcher at DeepScale, where an efficient Differential Neural Network architecture search algorithm was developed, and multiple research assistant roles at Georgia Institute of Technology, including projects in deep computer vision and neural network architecture search. Albert Shaw holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology.
