Ali Arsanjani

Ali Arsanjani, PhD, is an accomplished leader in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as the Director of Applied AI Engineering at Google since December 2021, where responsibilities include heading the AI/ML Center of Excellence and developing Generative AI strategies. In addition, Ali is a Senior Lecturer in Data Science at San Jose State University and the University of California, San Diego, teaching advanced topics in machine learning and natural language processing. With a robust entrepreneurial background, Ali founded the San Diego Tech Hub and previously founded DeepContext, Inc. Ali's extensive experience includes a notable tenure at Amazon Web Services as a global tech leader for AI/ML, and a distinguished career at IBM, where roles encompassed architecture, design, and delivery of integrated solutions across multiple industries. Ali holds a PhD in Computer Science from De Montfort University.
