Alok Vimawala

Alok Vimawala has an extensive career in network administration, cloud infrastructure, and IT management, with significant roles at the University of Michigan spanning from 2007 onwards. His experience includes serving as a Network Administrator and Developer at Diamond Financial Products, where Alok led multiple projects, developed web applications, and managed various server environments. In various capacities at the University of Michigan, including Intermediate Network Administrator, Senior Network Administrator, and Director of Infrastructure Systems, Alok contributed to numerous initiatives, such as the University Housing network strategy, cloud service transformation, and enhancing network reliability across campus. Alok holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Oakland University and a MSI in Information Economics, Management, and Policy from the University of Michigan. Alok has also held a position as a lecturer at the University of Michigan School of Public Health and recently worked as a Manager, Cloud Platforms & Infrastructure at Google Cloud Consulting.
