Andrew Brampton serves as a Principal Site Reliability Engineer at Google since July 2024, having rejoined the company in Core SRE. Previously, Andrew was the Founder of bramp.net from August 2023 to July 2024 and held numerous engineering roles at Google from 2014 to 2023, including Senior Staff Engineer responsible for Cloud Storage SRE and Operations Tech Lead for Google Sovereign Cloud. Andrew earned a PhD and a BSc in Computer Science from Lancaster University, completing studies in 2008 and 2004, respectively.
