Anton Chuvakin

Anton Chuvakin is a seasoned expert in security and risk management with extensive experience across various companies and roles. Currently serving as Senior Security Staff at Google in the Office of the CISO and as IANS Faculty, Anton has previously held positions as Head of Solution Strategy at Google Cloud Security and Research Vice President at Gartner, focusing on security information and event management, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management. Contributions also include involvement with The Honeynet Project as Chief PR Officer, various leadership roles at Cybershark, Inc. and TIBCO LogLogic, and significant work on PCI DSS compliance solutions at Qualys. Anton holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Stony Brook University and an undergraduate degree from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
