Aparna Vasudevan

Aparna Vasudevan is an experienced data scientist with a background in decision science and data analysis. From June 2016 to January 2018, Aparna worked at Mu Sigma Inc. as a trainee decision scientist, focusing on demand forecasting for a leading smartphone manufacturer using time series analysis and linear regression. Following that, a position as a decision scientist involved conducting real-world evidence analysis for oncology assets at a major US pharmaceutical company. Aparna then advanced to roles at KPMG Global Services as an associate consultant and PayPal, where the role progressed to senior data scientist. Currently, Aparna serves as a data scientist in trust and safety at Google while also mentoring aspiring data professionals at Preplaced. Academically, Aparna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy and is pursuing a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
