Arun Panayappan

Arun Panayappan is an experienced technology leader currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Google, where Arun shapes the AI-first vision for customer support within the Google Cloud Platform. Prior to Google, Arun held the position of Vice President at Jio Platforms, focusing on standardizing knowledge graph platforms and managing a team of 40 engineers. As Chief Technology Officer at trip38, Arun led the development of an AI-based chatbot marketplace utilized by over 350 startups. In previous roles at Goibibo and Amazon, Arun successfully managed engineering teams to improve payment systems and developed compliance tools, contributing to significant operational enhancements. Arun holds an M.S. in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a BE in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from PSG College of Technology.
