Austin Hope

Austin Hope is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human resources and executive compensation. Currently serving as a People Partner at Google since July 2017, Austin collaborates with the Global Security & Resilience Services leadership to develop comprehensive people strategies and works closely with the Economics team to deliver actionable insights for strategic decisions across Alphabet. Prior roles include Senior Executive Compensation Partner and Executive Compensation Partner at Google, where Austin managed critical compensation planning cycles and established strategic partnerships with senior leaders. Austin's previous experience at Mercer involved managing client engagements and conducting research to develop tailored HR strategies. Austin began a career in research as a Lead Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where responsibilities included training emerging researchers and conducting studies related to work behavior. Austin holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Business Option from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
