Ben Lavallee is an experienced leader currently serving as the Director of Google Cloud Customer Engineering, where they focus on expanding Google Cloud's presence in the Northeast US and lead a significant manager development community. Prior to this role, Ben successfully scaled a specialized sales engineering team at Google and managed global operations for the Google Maps Platform. Earlier in their career, Ben was recognized as the Teacher of the Year while teaching 3rd grade at Wesley Elementary School and held an engineering program management position at Eze Castle Software. Ben earned a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College and an MBA from The University of Chicago - Booth School of Business. They also currently serve on the board of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce.
