Bill Myers has extensive experience in meteorological applications and forecasting systems, with a career spanning several decades. Previously serving as a Programmer at the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences, Myers held the position of Senior Software Engineer at NCAR from 1987 to 2012, where contributions included the design of the Dynamic Integrated Forecast (DICast) system. From 2013 to 2021, Myers served as the Chief Science Officer at Global Weather Corporation, leading the development of commercial products based on advanced systems from NCAR. Currently, Myers is a Research Scientist at Google. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and French and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Dartmouth College, a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Washington, and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Colorado.
