Brian Albers is an experienced software engineer and leader with a diverse background in user interface technologies and scalable web messaging. Albers began a career at Oracle Corporation, serving as a Senior Member of Technical Staff from 1996 to 1999, followed by a Senior Development Manager role from 1999 to 2005, where significant contributions included the promotion of JavaServer Faces to open source. At Kaazing Corp., Albers excelled as Vice President of Development, establishing a sizable team and developing a groundbreaking server for web messaging. Recently, Albers took on the role of Senior Software Engineering Manager at Google, focusing on maps client infrastructure. As a Partner and Developer at Wobbleworks LLC since 2012, Albers continues to contribute by developing features for the award-winning astronomy app "Luminos" and other consumer apps. Albers holds a BA in Plan II Honors and a BS in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
