Chris Harte

Chris Harte is an educational leader with extensive experience in teaching and learning innovation. As a co-founder of Teachmeet North East, Chris successfully organized multiple teachmeet events, focusing on sponsorship, venue organization, marketing, and presentation. While serving as Assistant Head Teacher at Cramlington Learning Village, responsibilities included overseeing gifted and talented learners and the languages department. At John Monash Science School, Chris developed a personalized learning approach using technology and effective assessment strategies. Currently, Chris holds two roles at Google, focusing on government and education engagement across the ANZ/SEA and APAC & EMEA regions. Previously, experience included serving as a Google Earth Education Expert and launching Unstuck Learning Design, an initiative aimed at innovative educational practices. Chris holds a PGCE in Educational Theory and Practice from Newcastle University and a BA Hons in Modern European Languages from Durham University.
