Damon Whitsitt

Damon Whitsitt is a seasoned recruiting leader with extensive experience in technology and sales hiring across multiple regions. Currently serving as the Director and Head of Americas Horizontals Tech Recruiting at Google, Damon leads a comprehensive recruiting organization focused on technical roles, including Software Engineering and UX, and oversees recruiting efforts for the Latin America region. Previously, Damon held various leadership positions at Google, managing teams ranging from 160 to 850 recruiters and staff across diverse product areas. Prior to returning to Google in 2006, Damon was a Senior Recruiter at Genentech and Siebel Systems and was a Principal at Upstart Network. Damon holds a BA from Stanford University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Boulder.
